My First YA Novel Releases November 10th

Yes, that's right. I'm publishing my first YA novel next month. I cannot wait. It has been in the works for around 4 to 5 years. Because it is YA and under this name I write some seriously dirty, steamy love scenes I made the decision to publish this book under a pen name. That way at east I can be more sure that no innocent eyes are going to go looking for other books published by me and read something they're not ready for.
If you, like myself, enjoy a good YA fantasy romance, check it out.

Its every familiar’s dream to be turned, including mine. But the biggest chance any of us have is to be chosen on the night of the blood sacrifice. And finally, after over a century, the blood sacrifice event is upon us.

My name is Selena, and I want to be a blood sacrifice.

No, I need to be a Blood Sacrifice.
Because as crazy as it sounds, my life actually depends on it.

#freebiefriday

Once a month, typically towards the end of the month, I make one of my books free for a weekend only.

This months #freebiefriday brings you Amber & Lochlann, book 1 of the Flesh & Blood series. Grab your #free copy while you can.

On the outside it looked just like any normal club. A large black marble front with wide glass doors, special nights advertised in frames on the walls, two large bulky blokes in suits manning the doors, while a large queue backed down the street. But in truth, Flesh and Blood was anything but normal.
It was an exclusive club; there was no getting in unless you were a member. Once a month the club would open its doors to all - well to whoever was deemed worthy by the guys on the door, Tex and Al. Once through the doors and past the lobby you entered the main club, a large circular room with a dance floor and DJ booth in the middle, one large bar surrounding the entire room. Above the dance floor was the members’ balcony, where the members could watch the club below from plush leather booths, and be served at their own private bar. Above that was another floor, the main facility that was open nightly, 7 days a week, all year round. It was there that the name Flesh and Blood had true meaning. Because in all honest truth, Flesh and Blood was a strip club.
A
strip club where all the members… were vampires.

I'm still here!

I know, it has been an awfully long time since I posted anything on here but as usual life has a way of keeping things interesting... and stressful.
For us in the Reders household life took an interesting twist back in November when my husband, feeling a little under the weather, took a tumble down the stairs in the early hours of the morning. Being a typical bloke (and having a fear of hospitals), he phoned in sick from work and dragged himself back to bed. A few days later, he took another tumble, but this time it ended in a trip to A&E. Having blacked out in the kitchen, with a glass in his hand, he ended up with a badly cut head that needed checking out. It was during this hospital visit that they ordered him to visit his doctor.
Well, months down the line and we have discovered some things and are still waiting to find out others... mostly a official diagnosis. But we do have one main suspicion.
Epilepsy!
Since the first tumble down the stairs - an episode that happened without witnesses, same as the one in the kitchen - it has been discovered that he was not suffering from blackouts but was instead suffering from fits. From November to February he couldn't go 2 weeks without suffering from one. As you can imagine, he was unable to work at all during this time. So, now the main earner in the household, I have had to pick up overtime wherever I can, which means my writing has taken a bit of a backseat. But, with him now on medication and seizure free for the past 10 weeks, we are hopefully things will be getting back to normal soon... at least I hope so. We have had one or two set backs but I just have to pray that everything will work out in the end.
So, that's it. That is what has been keeping me occupied since late 2017. I hope you all are well and having a better 2018 than myself.
Fingers crossed I will have some new release information for you all soon.
So long for now.

New covers. New name.

At the beginning of the year I spent an entire month re-editing all three books of the fangless series in preparation of finally getting them out in print. While doing so I made the decision to not only redo the covers of the books to match in with the image I had of the print covers, but also change the name of the series. I had never been keen on calling it The Fangless series. It didn't quite fit. Now I feel I have finally found a name for the trilogy that works for it and the perfect covers to match.
So far both Fangless and Bloodless covers have been updated on Amazon, just waiting for Fearless now. Still, i wanted to take this opportunity to show you the new and final covers for the...

Love, Blood & Revenge series!

So without further ado, here they are. Hope you love them just as much as I do.

Don't worry, I haven't got lost... lol

Its been a while since I posted anything on here so I thought I would just pop by to say that I'm still here, I haven't gotten lost anywhere and I am still writing.
I don't know when my next release will be. I have suffered a little writers block over the past few weeks and before that I have been busy working on my first YA novel under my pen name Emma M Mullineaux. But fingers crossed I will be going back to visit the Chaetdorians later in the year to give Teks his HEA before heading back to the world of the Elementals to give Air her story.
Until then I hope you are all well and looking forward to the summer that is almost upon us (I cant believe how quickly this year has gone already).

Lets Hope For A Better Year Next Year

With Christmas I never expected to get much writing done. The truth is I did none. On the 23rd Dec, while getting ready to finish my gift shopping before work, I started to get pains in my left arm which were quickly followed by pains in my chest and back. Knowing that they meant nothing good I contacted my mother-in-law to collect the kids. With them safely out of the way my husband, mother and I made our way to the hospital. Due to my age (30) they highly doubted I was having a heartattack, or that there was anything actually wrong with me. (At least that was the impression I got.) Still, after hours in the waiting room the doctor ordered for bloods to be done.
Well those blood test showed results pointing to heart trauma, ie. A heartattack. I was quickly given medication and taken to a ward. Over the next 12 hours I was given a chest xray, had more bloods taken, given more medication, had a heart scan and was seen by a cardiologist consultant before finally being allowed home christmas eve afternoon.
Turns out I have myopericarditis. Which is inflammation of the heart muscles and covering of the heart. I have been ordered to take time of work and rest for at least a week or two, which I am trying to do. But with three kids I can assure you it is not easy.
Hopefully I'll be back to full health real soon and able to continue my writing. As you can understand that has had to take a backseat at the current time but my head is swimming with fresh ideas for stories I want tell within the next year.
Lets keep fingers crossed for a better start to the new year than the end of this one.
